I was on NewsTalk with Bruce DePuyt on News Channel 8 to discuss the Redskins win over the Giants, the growing legend of Robert Griffin III and Washington's chances of slipping into the playoffs. WATCH IT.

Redskins nickel cornerback Cedric Griffin will miss the rest of the regular season due to a suspension for violating the NFL's rules against performance-enhancing drugs.

A "person with knowledge of the case" is claiming Griffin got suspended for use of Adderall. That may be. It may not. The NFL does not identify the specific violating substance that was used so agents and players can claim it was anything they like. Right now, the hip drug to mention after you're caught violating the NFL's PED rules is Adderall. Believe what you like.

Who will play nickel in place of Griffin? It could be rookie 7th round pick Richard Crawford, who has not been on the active roster on game day most weeks. It might also be Jerome Murphy or D.J. Johnson, both of whom were recently signed and have played little in the Washington defensive scheme.

CB DeAngelo Hall was on crutches yesterday, but he says he will play on Sunday against the Ravens.

Most of the pundits around the NFL seem uninterested in the fact that Robert Griffin has thrown only 4 interceptions this year. However, I think it is pretty important.

LeBron James and Dwyane Wade are not Redskins fans, but they are RG3 fans.

Here is video of LeBron James and RG3 meeting after the Wizards defeated the visiting Miami Heat last night.

Twitter reacts to the presence of RG3 at the Wizardss-Heat game last night.

Giants DB Antrell Rolle likes to trash talk before games and he think the Giants players -- particularly DL Justin Tuck -- were too kind and complimenatary toward Robert Griffin before their Monday night game. I'm not sure I understand this. Is Rolle suggesting guys like Tuck didn't try as hard because they admire RG3 too much? That seems silly and very unlikely. Besides, Rolle was one of the Giants players praising RG3 before the game. So what does that make him?

Ravens head coach John Harbaugh has followed RG3 from afar:

“I knew of him because my brother recruited him four years ago to Stanford,” Harbaugh said referring to his brother, Jim, who now coaches the San Francisco 49ers. “He had recruited both Andrew Luck and Robert Griffin III — both out of Houston, both 4.0 [GPA] students, by the way, so they were Stanford guys. Andrew ended up going there, and obviously, RGIII went to Baylor. I’ve known him for a little while, and I’ve got a lot of respect for him.”

The Redskins are winning and that's all they want to talk about.
