The story of WR Anthony Armstrong and his journey to the Washington Redskins is an amazing one and Rich Campbell tells it in today's must-read. He bounced around semi-pro ball for years, suffering unlucky injuries before finally getting a break that didn't involve one of the bones in his body. He caught a touchdown pass in Washington's first preseason game and followed it up with 4 catches for 84 yards in the second preseason game. He's unquestionably the MVP of the preseason so far and he's picked up some fans on the team, including his offensive coordinator and fellow wideout Santana Moss.

“I took a detour. Robert Frost said there are two roads that [diverged] and I took the road less traveled. My road was the one to the side of the ones less traveled.”
