RGIII not 100%, but may play

Washington Redskins head coach Mike Shanahan said today that rookie QB Robert Griffin III is not yet 100%, but barring any setbacks, he will play on Sunday against Philadelphia.  Griffin practiced fully today and did not have any setbacks.

Griffin is battling a knee sprain sustained in the win against Baltimore.

OT Tyler Polumbus did not practice today.  He left the game last week early due to concussion symptoms.  The fact he did not practice today is not a good sign we will see the starting right tackle on Sunday.  With backup Jordan Black suspended on a bog PED violation, right tackle looks to be either in the hands of G/T Maurice Hurt or rookie draft pick Tom Compton.

Some excellent news on the offensive line is that C Will Montgomery practice fully today.  Montgomery suffered an MCL strain last week.  Montgomery was quoted today saying "I'm good to go."

LB Lorenzo Alexander suffered a shoulder stinger last week.  He was limited in practice today but looks to be good to go for Sunday.  DE Stephen Bowen and LB London Fletcher were both limited at practice today.  Both are expected to play on Sunday.
