Trent Williams suffers bone bruise
According to Mike Jones at the Washington Post, left tackle Trent Williams suffered only a bone bruise. That has to have Redskins fans breathing a sigh of relief. Williams injured his knee in the first quarter yesterday and attempted minor comebacks in the second and third quarters, but his knee did not cooperate. The Redskisn had to turn to Jordan Black, who was not even in the NFL in 2011. In fact, he was retired.
No word yet on whether Williams would miss this weekends game against Tampa Bay.
