The Redskins are looking for their third straight win on Monday Night Football when they host the New York Giants at Fed Ex Field. A victory would move Washington to within one game of first place in the NFC East. New York beat the Redskins 27-23 at Giants Stadium on October 21st. "It's a game we felt we should have won," Robert Griffin said. "And we didn't win it, they got the win in their column and we got the loss." The Giants won on a 77 yard pass from Eli Manning to Victor Cruz with just 1:13 left. The 'Skins had taken the lead 19 seconds earlier on a 30-yard scoring strike from Griffin to Santana Moss.

Two-time Super Bowl MVP Eli Manning is having another solid season and the Giants success rides squarely on his right throwing arm. Manning has thrown for nearly 2900 yards, with 15 touchdowns and 11 interceptions this season. Ahmad Bradshaw leads the ground game with 733 yards and five touchdowns rushing. Designated goal line back Andre Brown has been lost to injury with rookie David Wilson expected to step up in his absence. New York has arguably the best young receiving tandem in the game in Hakeem Nicks and Victor Cruz. Linebacker Michael Boley leads the defense with 67 tackles, followed by two-time Pro Bowl safety Antrel Rolle.
Prediction: Is this the biggest game for the Redskins in the Mike Shanahan era? A victory on Monday night and Washington will move to within a game of the NFC East lead and will have completed the trifecta- beating all three division rivals on consecutive weeks. A loss and the Skins fall to 5-7 and realistically will have to win out to have a shot at post season. The Redskins offense received a huge boost in the return of Pierre Garcon, giving RG3 a game breaking option to stretch the field. Alfred Morris appeared to be wearing down as the season moved into November, but has shown a second wind as the team moved into NFC East play. As has been the case most of this season, can the offense score enough? We know the Giants will score and are likely to come out aggressively through the air. The stage is huge, a national TV audience with a chance to move to .500 and within striking distance of a divisional crown. Washington 24 NY Giants 20
