The Washington Wizards defeated the visiting Philadelphia 76ers in Washington's home opener tonight, 116-115 in overtime. The Wizards overcame a 14-point deficit in the first quarter and a 3-point deficit with seconds left in regulation to send the game to overtime. Cartier Martin's desperation three tied the game after four quarters and Andray Blatche's two free throws in overtime provided the winning margin. It's Washington's first win of the season, as they improved to 1-2. Philadelphia fell to 0-4.

The Wizards were led by rookie PG John Wall, who wowed the crowd and narrowly missed a triple-double with 29 points, 13 assists and 9 steals. Wall had some help from Blatche  [23 points, 8 rebounds] and Nick Young [20 points].

Now, watch Cartier Martin's amazing 3-point shot that sent the game to overtime.
