Wizards buy out Al Thornton

The Wizards bought out forward Al Thornton's contract earlier today Ernie] Grunfeld. Or maybe they would try rookie Trevor Booker at quick forward.

Anyway, the Wizards are taking a risk by buying out Thornton, but it's still a good idea. He clearly has fallen out of the playing rotation and has no future with the team. It's better that the Wizards move him off the books and out of town. If injuries do cause problem...What difference does it make? The team is horrible already and only plays hard about 50% of the time.
