-Wednesday night’s game is the third and final meeting of the season between the Washington Wizards and Cleveland Cavaliers. The season series is currently tied at one game apiece.
-Last game versus Charlotte...The Wizards defeated the Charlotte Bobcats, 101-73, on April 23rd at Verizon Center. Nene scored 18 points on 8-of-11 from the field to go along with six rebounds...John Wall recorded 16 points, 14 assists and grabbed five rebounds...Jan Vesely scored a career-high 16 points on a perfect 8-of-8 from the field...Kevin Seraphin scored 12 points and grabbed eight rebounds...Gerald Henderson led the Bobcats with 19 points.
-Last time versus Cleveland…The Wizards were defeated by the Cleveland Cavaliers, 98-89, on April 14th at Verizon Center...John Wall scored 19 points on 8-of-16 from the field, while adding nine assists...Jordan Crawford scored 18 points...Kevin Seraphin scored 15 points...Jan Vesely posted his second career double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds...James Singleton added 13 points.
-The Wizards have won four consecutive games for the first time since November 11-17 of 2007. The last time the Wizards won five straight games was November 11-21 of 2007 when they won six straight.

-Kevin Seraphin has scored 10 or more points in 13 consecutive starts at center. The last Washington player to score 10 or more points in 13 consecutive starts at center was Gheorghe Muresan. Muresan scored 10 or more points in 16 consecutive starts during the 1995-96 season. Seraphin has scored 10 or more points in 14 straight games overall.
-John Wall has recorded at least 13 points, 13 assists and five rebounds in his last two games. Wall joins Boston’s Rajon Rondo as the only players to post these numbers in back-to-back games this season. The last Wizard to record at least 13 points, 13 assists and five rebounds in consecutive games was Rod Strickland. Strickland accomplished this feat February 24 and 26 of 1998.
-With his 8-of-8 shooting performance from the field versus Charlotte, Jan Vesely became the second rookie in franchise history to make all eight field goals he attempted. Mitchell Butler did it for Washington on January 13, 1994 versus Houston. The last NBA rookie to go at least 8-of-8 from the field in a game was Darren Collison for the New Orleans Hornets. Collison went a perfect 10-of-10 from the field on March 27, 2010.
