I guess you can say things are getting better... after that start and all.....

7 and 26 at the break, midway through the abbreviated 66 game campaign, a disappointment by anyone's measuring stick.

Andray Blatche has been out for a dozen games with a strained left calf. The good news (is it good news) is that Blatche may return when the Wizards return from the break at Milwaukee on Tuesday.

Blatche's return will certainly cost Trevor Booker minutes and development as well. Booker has been one of the few bright spots this season, picking up a double-double and at least seven rebounds in eight games.

Ronny Turiaf is also nearing a return and has been working out with the team. Blatche is still bothered by the torn calf and didn't accompany the team on their extended road trip.
