-Tonight’s game is the third and final meeting of the season between the Washington Wizards and Miami Heat. The season series is currently tied at one game apiece.

-Last game versus Cleveland...The Wizards defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers, 96-85, for their fifth consecutive victory last night at Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland...John Wall led the Wizards with 21 points, 13 assists, seven rebounds and seven steals...Kevin Seraphin scored 12 points and grabbed six rebounds...Nene scored 12 points on 6-of-7 from the field and grabbed seven rebounds...James Singleton and Chris Singleton each scored 10 points...Jan Vesely scored seven points and grabbed a career-high 12 rebounds.

-Last time versus Miami…The Wizards defeated the Miami Heat, 86-84, on April 21st in Miami...John Wall found Nene for the game winning lay-up with 0.5 seconds left to extend Washington’s winning streak to three games...Cartier Martin led all scorers with 22 points on 8-of-15 from the field...Kevin Seraphin recorded 17 points and six rebounds...John Wall tallied 13 points, 13 assists, six rebounds and four steals...Nene added 11 points on 5-of-9 from the field.

-The Wizards have won five consecutive games for the first time since November 11-21 of 2007 when they won six straight.

-Kevin Seraphin has scored 10 or more points in 14 consecutive starts at center. The last Washington player to score 10 or more points in 14 consecutive starts at center was Gheorghe Muresan. Muresan scored 10 or more points in 16 consecutive starts during the 1995-96 season. Seraphin has scored 10 or more points in 15 straight games overall.

-Since steals and blocks became an official stat in the early 1970’s, John Wall is the fastest player (134 games) to reach 2,200 points, 1,000 assists, 600 rebounds, 200 steals and 90 blocks.

-In last night’s game in Cleveland, John Wall became the first player in franchise history to record 21 points, 13 assists, seven rebounds and seven steals in the same game.

-Wall has recorded at least 13 points, 13 assists and five rebounds in his last three games and is the only player to reach these numbers in three straight games this season. The last Wizard to record at least 13 points, 13 assists and five rebounds in three straight games was Rod Strickland. Strickland accomplished this feat February 10-14 of 1998.

-Wall is the first Wizard since Rod Strickland to have 10 or more assists in four straight games. Strickland accomplished this from March 24-30 of 1999.

-Wall joins Rajon Rondo as the only players who have had 13 or more assists in three straight games this season. Wall and Rondo are also the only two players to have 10 or more assists in four straight games this season.

-The Wizards are 7-2 in their last nine games. Washington is holding opponents to 89.9 points per game on .416 shooting from the field.

-Wizards-Heat connections...Heat forward Mike Miller averaged 10.9 points, 6.2 rebounds and 3.9 assists in 54 games for Washington during the 2009-10 season...Heat forward Juwan Howard was selected 5th overall by the Washington Bullets in the 1994 NBA Draft.... Howard averaged 18.3 points in 464 career games with the Wizards from 1994-2001.
