Blatche to miss 3 to 5 weeks
Washington Wizards head coach Randy Whittman confirmed today that Andray Blatche will miss 3 to 5 weeks with a calf strain. The 25 year-old forward is averaging 10.3 points per game this season.
Blatche missed most of Washington's 102-99 win over Charlotte, putting in just 8 minutes. Rookie first rounder Jan Vesely will start and be supported by Trevor Booker and Chris Singleton. Replacing Blatche on the roster will be Hamady Ndiaye, who was called up from the Iowa Energy.
