-Tonight’s game is the second of two meetings between the Washington Wizards and Los Angeles Clippers. The Clippers won the first meeting, 107-81, on February 4th in Washington.

-Last game versus Portland...The Washington Wizards defeated the Portland Trail Blazers, 124-109, last night at the Rose Garden in Portland...The Wizards were led by Nick Young who scored a season-high 35 points on 12-of-17 from the field...Young nailed 7-of-8 three-point attempts...John Wall scored 29 points and had nine assists... Jordan Crawford scored 21 points in 29:50 minutes of play off of the bench...JaVale McGee posted his third straight double-double with 18 points and 11 rebounds...Nicolas Batum led the Trail Blazers with 33 points.

-The Wizards have won consecutive road games by 15 or more points for the first time in franchise history.

-In Washington’s victory over Portland last night, the Wizards shot .600 from the field for the first time since October 31, 2009. The Wizards shot .615 from the field in a 123-104 victory over the New Jersey Nets.

-The 124 points scored by the Wizards last night marked the most points they have scored on the road since March 23, 2007. The Wizards fell to the Golden State Warriors, 135-128, in that contest.

-The Wizards shot .600 from the field, .529 from three-point range and .826 from the free throw line. The last time the Wizards reached these numbers in the same game was April 10, 1996 in a, 122-108, victory over the Celtics in Boston.

-JaVale McGee has posted three straight double-doubles with at least 18 points and 10 rebounds for the first time in his career. McGee’s career-high in consecutive double-doubles is four, which he recorded from March 23-27 of 2011.

-John Wall is averaging 20.3 points, 8.3 rebounds, 3.6 assists, 1.3 steals and 1.1 blocks per game in his last seven games. Wall is shooting .543 percent from the field during this stretch.

-Nick Young is 10-of-14 (.714) from three-point range in his last two games.

-Last season versus the Clippers in Los Angeles (3/23/11), John Wall (32 points, 10 assists) and Jordan Crawford (25 points, 10 assists) became the first pair of rookie teammates in NBA history to score at least 25 points and record 10 assists in the same game.

-Wizards-Clippers connections... Nick Young attended Cleveland HS in Reseda, CA, and played collegiately at USC... Clippers guard Randy Foye appeared in 70 games for the Wizards in 2009-2010, averaging 10.1 points and 3.3 assists per game… Clippers forward Caron Butler spent four-and-a-half seasons with Washington (2005-2010) and averaged 19.0 points, 6.6 rebounds and 3.5 assists in 310 games… Wizards guard John Wall and Clippers guard Eric Bledsoe were starting backcourt mates for the 2009-10 Kentucky Wildcats… Wizards assistant coach Sam Cassell played for the Clippers from 2005-08.
