Gilbert Arenas sucks
I can't believe I typed that subject header above, but I did...'cause it is true. I take no real pleasure in this fact, since I once considered myself a huge fan of Gilbert Arenas, clearly the most exciting and popular Wizards player in a long, long time.
He's awful. Anyone had a look at what he's done in Orlando? He's shooting 34% from the field, 24% on 3-pointers and is now hitting only 69% of his free throws. He's now playing only 21 minutes per game. He's hit 27% of his shots in February. He's become a terrible player, the most overpaid player in the NBA.
So how do Gilbert's numbers compare to what Rashard Lewis has done in Washington?
Lewis has actually played better in DC than he did in Orlando earlier this season, though his recent injury has set him back. Lewis hasn't played much recently, but he's missed 9 of his last 10 shots from the field. Here's how Lewis' numbers stack up:
| STATS | ORLANDO | WASHINGTON |
| PPG | 12.2 | 12.3 |
| RPG | 4.2 | 6.4 |
| APG | 1.2 | 2.1 |
| TOPG | 1.4 | 1.7 |
| FG% | 42% | 46% |
| 3pFG% | 37% | 33% |
| FT% | 76% | 83% |
Next time you feel like complaining about Rashard Lewis, consider that it could be worse.
