Wizards 2010-11 schedule released
The Washington Wizards have released their 2010-11 regular season schedule, which begins October 28 against the Magic in Orlando, a game televised nationally on TNT. Two nights later the Wizards play another road division game against a playoff team, the Atlanta Hawks. The Wiz make their home debut at Verizon Center on November 2 against the Philadelphia 76ers, a match-up of the teams that won the first and second picks in the 2010 NBA Draft.
There are currently scheduled two TNT games, the other being on November 25 in Atlanta. One ESPN game, on January 21 at home against the Phoenix Suns, is on the schedule.
The Wizards will play 21 back-to-back games on this schedule. That's less than Milwaukee and Chicago [23 each, the most in the NBA], but far more than the Los Angeles Lakers, who will only play 15 back-to-back games this upcoming season. It's good to be champs, I guess.
