Wizards Top Cavs- In Brooklyn Tonight
After opening exhibition play with a pair of losses, the Wizards picked up their first win of the preseason, a 99-95 decision over the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Washington received balanced scoring with rookie Bradley Beal, Jordan Crawford and Brian Cook with 14 points apiece.
Injuries are a real concern for the Wizards as they played without Nene, John Wall, Emeka Okafor, Trevor Booker and Chris Singleton. To further compound the situation, the Wiz lost big man Kevin Seraphin to a calf injury. Seraphin will join the walking wounded and sit out tonight's contest.
The Wizards continue exhibition play tonight as the Nets christen the new Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
