Wizards Upset Lebron And Heat
In what is certainly the upset of this young NBA season, the Wizards beat the Miami Heat 105-101 tonight at the Verizon Center.
With Robert Griffin III looking on in the crowd,Jordan Crawford led the Wizards with 22 points off the bench, including a pair of free throws with six seconds remaining to ice the victory. Lebron James led the Heat, posting a triple double with 26 points, 13 rebounds and 11 assists. Dwayne Wade added 24 and Chris Bosh 20 as the Big Three figured in the majority of the Heat scoring.
The Wizards got a big night from their bench, outscoring the Miami reserves 64-31. The win is only the second for Washington in 15 games, while the Heat fall to 12-4. Washington hits the road with a Friday night game against the Hawks in Atlanta.
