Well. Week one brought a few surprises, did it not? Much of the NFL world has been off-balance since, but The World's Most Prestigious Power Poll is never at a loss for words or equilibrium.

01. New England Patriots [1-0]: Stevan Ridley gives the Pats yet another option on offense. [+1]

02. Baltimore Ravens [1-0]: ] The rest of the NFL has long dreaded the day the Ravens found an offense to go with that great defense. [+3]

03. San Francisco 49ers [1-0] They won't need every luck bounce this year if they can dominate good teams on the road like they just did to the Packers. [+4]

04. Green Bay Packers [0-1]: With a lackluster defense and running game, the Packers are putting too much pressure on Aaron Rodgers to bail out the rest of the team. [-3]

05. Houston Texans [1-0]: Another game, another two touchdown runs for Arian Foster. [+1]

06. Chicago Bears [1-0]: Picking up where they left off before Cutler was injured last season. [+4]

07. Atlanta Falcons [1-0]: I still don't believe in them when it counts [yet], but they crushed a pretty good Chiefs team on Sunday. [+5]

08. Denver Broncos [1-0]: So great to see the best QB of all time, Peyton Manning, back in the NFL. [+8]

09. New Orleans Saints [0-1]: Just one down game from Drew Brees & Co.? That's what I think. [-4]

10. Philadelphia Eagles [1-0]: Facing the worst rush defense in the NFL last year, Andy Reid called 56 pass plays. And Michael Vick screwed up most of them. [-2]

11. Dallas Cowboys [1-0]: Winning a big game in early September is great. Winning a big game in December would be even better. [+4]

12. Detroit Lions [1-0]: Matt Stafford decided to begin his season 58 minutes after the rest of his team did. [-1]

13. New York Giants [0-1]: Eli will need more help from his teammates than he got in week 1. [-10]

14. Pittsburgh Steelers [12-4]: Big Ben is a good quarterback, but he'll  never be Peyton Manning. On the field or off. [-5]

15. Kansas City Chiefs [0-1]: Badly missed Tamba Hali and Brandon Flowers in the season opener. [-2]

16. New York Jets [1-0]: Gotta admit, I figured it would take the Jets about a month to score 48 points. [+6]

17. San Diego Chargers [1-0]: Hope they're not counting on 3 botched punts by the opponent every week. [+2]

18. Cincinnati Bengals [0-1]: Joe Flacco was driving the Mack truck that ran over these guys Monday night. [-3]

19. Washington Redskins [1-0]: Skins fans spent Sunday afternoon doing something new -- watching a competent quarterback carve up a defense. [+4]

20. Seattle Seahawks [0-1]: Very narrow loss on the road, but they've got to like their defense and their rookie QB. [-3]

21. Carolina Panthers [0-1]: How did the #1 rushing offense last year get 10 measly yards on the ground against Tampa? [NC]

22. Tennessee Titans [0-1]: How much are they paying Chris Johnson? [-2]

23. Buffalo Bills [0-1]: Spent money during the offseason like Dan Snyder to improve the defense. Got Dan Snyder results, too. [-5]

24. Tampa Bay Buccaneers [1-0]: Forget Josh Freeman and Vincent Jackson, it's the Doug Martin show in Tampa. [+1]

25. Oakland Raiders [0-1]: Gonna be a long season if McFadden is going to be used more as a receiver than runner. [-1]

26. Jacksonville Jaguars [0-1]: As I expected, Gabbert looks much better this year, but they need more than 24 yards out of Justin Blackmon. [NC]

27. Minnesota Vikings [1-0]: Peterson's return is very welcome, but they needed overtime to win at home against the Jags. [+1]

28. Arizona Cardinals [1-0]: Are they expecting Kevin Kolb to save their season? [+2]

29. St. Louis Rams [0-1]: Won the turnover battle +3 and still lost the game. [NC]

30. Indianapolis Colts [0-1]: 45 passes for a rookie QB making his first start is not a recipe for success. [-3]

31. Miami Dolphins [0-1]: Ryan Tannehil looks ready to start in week one of 2014. [NC]

And the first pick in the 2013 NFL Draft goes to…

32. Cleveland Browns [0-1]: Brandon Weeden wasn't much of a pitcher, but baseball is starting to look better after last Sunday. [NC]
