DISCUSS THIS IN OUR FAN FORUM!
A bit of turmoil in The World's Most Prestigious Power Poll this week, as we have changes in all the top five spot. There are two things you can count on, though: The World's Most Prestigious Power Poll will make sene of the baffling NFL for you and the Kansas City Chiefs are awful. Enjoy.
01. Atlanta Falcons [6-0]: They keep winning without impressing me too much, but they do keep winning. [+1]
02. New York Giants [4-2]: They have only beaten one good team, but it was the best win any NFL team has this season. [+7]
03. Houston Texans [5-1]: Loss of Bryan Cushing followed by blowout home loss to Green Bay is worrying. [-2]
04. Baltimore Ravens [5-1]: Loss of Ladarius Webb and Ray Lewis augurs poorly. The defense was already declining. [-1]
05. San Francisco 49ers [4-2]: Not going to overreact to one very, very bad loss. [-1]
06. Chicago Bears [4-1]: Jay Cutler spent the bye week being hated by millions of people. Like any other week, really, just less football. [NC]
07. Green Bay Packers [3-3]: Showed how to mess with Texas on Monday night. [+6]
08. New England Patriots [3-3]: Have trouble holding leads because the secondary is very weak against the deep pass. [-3]
09. Denver Broncos [3-3]: Peyton Manning is second in the NFL in passing yards, passer rating and touchdowns. [+6]
10. Seattle Sehawks [4-2]: Defense will keep them in games, but they're only a good team at home. [+8]
11. Minnesota Vikings [4-2]: One tough road loss doesn't ruin their season, but they need to find that pass rush again. [-4]
12. Pittsburgh Steelers [3-3]: Good teams don't lose to both the Raiders and Titans. [-1
13. Arizona Cardinals [4-2]: Must find a way to protect the QB -- 22 sacks in the last 3 weeks is ridiculous. [-3]
14. Philadelphia Eagles [3-3]: The talent is all there, but so are the turnovers. [-6]
15. Dallas Cowboys [2-3]: Late game incompetence destroys a very impressive performance in Baltimore. [+2]
16. Washington Redskins [3-3]: RG3's biggest challenge yet awaits with that great NY Giants pass rush. [+3]
17. San Diego Chargers [3-3]: Hard to believe Norv Turner would be coaching a team of choking dogs [-1]
18. St. Louis Rams [3-3]: A fall could be coming, with the Packers, Patriots and 49ers coming in the next weeks. [-4]
19. Miami Dolphins [3-3]: I thought this would be one of the 3-5 worst teams in the NFL. [+2]
20. Cincinnati Bengals [3-3]: Back-to-back losses to rookie QBs in Miami & Cleveland. [-7]
21. Detroit Lions [2-3]: Win over Eagles was great, but the Lions make so many mistakes, I don't think they can keep it going. [+3]
22. New Orleans Saints [1-4]: I have a feeling these guys will turn their season around. [NC]
23. Tampa Bay Buccaneers [2-3]: Need to find a way to get the Chiefs on the schedule more often. [NC]
24. New York Jets [3-3]: Removing the quarterback from the offensive game plan is the key to winning. [+1]
25. Buffalo Bills [3-3]: Hey, what do you know -- Mario Williams is alive. [+2]
26. Indianapolis Colts [2-3]: Terrible road team with a terrible defense. [-6]
27. Tennessee Titans [2-4]: Win over Pittsburgh saved the season.. at least for one week. [+4]
28. Carolina Panthers [1-4]: The league has figured this offense out. So what do they do now? [-2]
29. Oakland Raiders [1-4]: Carson Palmer wanted out of Cincy for this? [-1]
30. Cleveland Browns [1-5]: Very young team has been losing competitive games. Must have been fun to finally win one. [+2]
31. Jacksonville Jaguars [1-4]: Bye week they just had likely to figure prominently in end-of-year highlight. [-2]
32. Kansas City Chiefs [1-5]: Not sure Matt Barkley or Geno Smith will enjoy playing here. [-2]
BIG MOVER UP: Seattle Seahawks +8. BIG MOVER DOWN: Cincinnati Bengals -7.
